Her came the water merchants from neighbouring villages to fill their skinbags they later carried them to their own villages to sell to the locals. Built in the 1920s, these two huge subterranean wellsexcavated in mountain sandstone, were designe for the stocking of rainwater wivh was later sold. To this spot came the "aguaores" (water merchans) from neighbouring villages to fill their skin barrels. They then carried them backto their local villages for sale. |

If you visit them, you will be surprised because the West Well has been converted into an exibition gallery, whereas the East Well is still used for the collecting and stocking of water. |
