How to Get There
The population is in the road CV-920 which communicates Orihuela with Rojales and Guardamar del Segura, near in the south of the river Segura, which crosses the term for its North area. To Jacarilla can be accessed easily by the road CV-95, that communicates Orihuela with Torrevieja and Pilar de la Horadada, through Bigastro.
The municipality of Jacarilla occupies an area of 12 square kilometres in the region of Vega Baja del Segura, to the south of the province of Alicante (Spain).
It has 1,600 inhabitants distributed among the own people of Jacarilla and Vistabella‘s core. The term’s surface is practically flat; with an altitude of 23 meters and the climate is Mediterranean.
Jacarilla is adjacent to the municipal areas of Orihuela, Bigastro and Benejúzar.
